Activities
- To hold an annual meeting of the JGS, publish a scientific journal, Journal of Japan Glaucoma Society (annually), and prepare for WGC 2021 in Kyoto.
- To conduct collaborative, transinstitutional research projects such as the Tajimi and Kumejima epidemiological studies and Collaborative Bleb-Related Infection Incidence and Treatment Study.
- To make much wider people aware of glaucoma by Light-up in Green Movement, which illuminates landmark facilities such as castles, monuments, famous towers, in green during the World Glaucoma Week at some 100 locations across the country.
